I stayed at the Grand Oasis Sens recently and it was just beautiful. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, but where this resort really stands out is it's food. Benazuza was amazing! Molecular gastronomy is so much fun. Service/staff are outstanding. Nightly entertainment is not to be missed! They also have a restaurant I didn't get a chance to try where you eat in the dark. I guess that gives me a reason to come back!

"Grand Oasis go for SENS VIP room category!!"
Ok I have never submitted a review so here it goes. We stayed from 04/12-04/19. We payed to stay in the SENS VIP category and it was worth every penny. We had a private check in and out, recieved gold wristbands, had our own concierge (Mariel and Ximenia were soo amazing) we had bathrobes and slippers, champagne sent to our room on two nights and fresh fruit and chocolate covered strawberries another two nights, a free safe, our room 5225 cleaned every day by 12, and free wifi. Our group consisted of 31 people but we were the only ones who paid through our travel agency (vacation store miami) for this and believe it made all the difference. Our favorite waiter was in the marketplace German he was the best always brought our kids ice cream after meals. By having the gold bracelet you are treated so wonderfully.( any and all issues were always taken care of.) Also bring lots of 1 and 5 dollar bills tipping is so appreciated. These people make the equivalent of 5 american dollars for a 10 hour workday.

Carlos and Ricardo at the front desk lifesaver good coffee. Carlos at the Italian , Jesus Juan Carlos at the Mexican. They all made our vacation memorable . Great entreatment at the Kinky bar. Pool great went to see the Oasis Grand we liked Oasis Sens lot better. Safe , security on all the time. Ocean safe and clean.
"Nice property with great entertainment in a laid-back atmosphere"
Just returned from our 2nd stay at Oasis Sens in the past year. First trip was between Christmas and New Year's, property was a bit crowded, but not too bad. During this stay, it wasn't crowded at all. We had a great time on both trips. We met a lot of friendly people during both stays. The resort is a bit old, but clean and well-kept up. The food is definitely above average, the entertainment is great, the pool / beach areas are fantastic. There are bars to grab drinks everywhere you look. The chicken at Mr. Whimpy by the pool is awesome. Benazuza for breakfast was a great experience. The entertainment staff is fun, and always have something going on, or you can just sit back and relax. The only real negative is the sales pitch they give you to try and get you to attend the bigger vacation sales pitch. We went the first time, and learned from our mistake. Just politely say you aren't interested. Special shout out to Carlos the bellhop, Luis from the restaurants, and Pedro from the swim up pool bar. The only other thing I can mention is to get all the info on the restaurants when you arrive. Ask which ones need reservations and make sure to get them when you can. If it's crowded, they can be hard to get.
"Beautiful resort"
This resort is very beautiful. Every evening there Is an hour's worth of unique entertainment. We enjoyed each show. The pools are lovely. The beach is clean and comfortable. Swimming in the gulf is safe. Lifeguards on duty. The breakfast buffet restaurant is very good. Lots of assortment. Special thanks to : Daniel, Jose Zapata, Raphael, Albina, and Neri. We ate twice at the Al Sur restaurant. The beef shish-kebabs are delicious. Special thanks to Gaudalupe for looking after us so well! Dining at the Benazuza restaurant is a must for breakfast! Special thanks to Carlos, Alfonzo, and Fidel for our experience wonderful! I enjoyed the health beach bar almost daily!!! Thanks to : Lucero, Alejondro, Mauro, Manuel, Armondo, and Pedro! We all enjoyed the excerise program in the pool, Zumba, volleyball as well. Special thanks to : Antonio, Jorge, Sabrina, and Yonathan! The main lobby is immaculately clean. Thanks to Theresa in housekeeping dept. Thank you to Ernesto at the VIP bar. Also a big thank you to Sarai at the VIP registration desk. Thank you Raphael ( resort manager ). To make note :: a must-do is to eat at the Black Hole restaurant,! It is an excellent, fun place to eat! Do not pass up this restaurant!! We loved it! We recommend this resort to our friends at home
"What a great vacation"
We started our vacation taking a redeye flight from Los Angeles and arriving at the hotel at eight in the morning. The front desk checked us in immediately and suggested that we go get some breakfast at the buffet, because we looked tired and hungry. they told us our rooms were not going to be ready until 3:00, but we can still enjoy the whole resort and just have our bags held by the bellhops. The breakfast was incredibly good with all kinds of fresh foods. A quick warning, if you think Taco Bell is real Mexican food, you just wont find it here. after breakfast we grabbed our swim suits and headed to the topless optional pool, because it was relatively quiet and thought we could take a nap..... then the bar opened. Anybody who thinks they water down their drinks was not at the same resort we were at. When we made it up to our rooms they were very clean and the A.C. was on so they were nice and fresh feeling from the moment we stepped into them. The rest of the week was not stop fun. I cant say enough good things about the different restaurants. I don't think I had a disappointing meal the whole time I was there. A true highlight for any foodie was the black box. Benazusa was worth the extra that it cost to eat there. the only suggestion I could make to the management would be to male the night club more of a dance club than a cabaret, though we did enjoy the shows there. We would have had to go to the night club area of the hotel zone to go out dancing for the night. It says when you book the hotel that the tips are included, but a few dollars in you pocket to tip your bartenders and food service workers is well appreciated by them. If you need anything, want to know about any places to go, or just want to know anything about the area, Raphael at the concierge desk can tell you where to find it, how to get there, and what you want to stop and see on the way there. He was raised in Texas, and speaks English just as good as Spanish. Sergio the bartender always had our favorite drinks ready almost as soon as we ordered them, And it seamed like Terisita was always keeping things clean and shining everywhere we looked and always had a friendly smile. We will definitely be back next year.
"Simply awesome !!!!"
This was my first time in Mexico so was not sure what to expect but wow. The staff are amazing, the hotel and its grounds couldnt be cleaner and the inclusions in the all-inclusive rate was amazing. The only downfall we had was we requested a twin room and ended up with a king bed room but that was the only hiccup. The restaurants have the yummiest meals and the sushi place for the afternoon snack was delicious. Not as big as some of the resorts we drove past but I actually liked that fact. We have have never been so sad to leave a place.
"Best hotel I've ever stayed in!"
I have recently got back from a 10 night stay with my boyfriend at the Oasis Sens and we had the most amazing time there!! Our hotel was changed last minute just days before we were due to go away and at first this concerned and worried us after planning and looking forward to our holiday for months but when we arrived at the Oasis sens and seen it in person for the first time we were so happy that this was our new hotel and knew straight away we were going to have a great time there. The staff are all wonderful there and are so friendly and helpful! A real credit to the hotel! Each morning a lovely lady called Sabina came round the pool to say hi to us and ask how we were each morning which we thought was really nice! I don't no the names of the other reps there but they were all so friendly with us and getting us involved in activities such as volleyball! Please pass on my thanks to them all :) the gentleman who works at the swim up bar was also so lovely and friendly! After a few days of being there he knew what our drinks order was and brought it over to us each morning and throughout the day which we thought was really kind of him. There is a great variaty of restaurants to choose from but our favourite was the Italian which we ate at almost every night, the food is gorgeous and staff are all so polite. The breakfast buffet they have there is also fantastic so much yummy food to choose from!! Our rooms were cleaned each day and were always so clean and fresh afterwards, our mini fridge was also stocked up with drinks each day which was brilliant. The entertainment at night time was also very good there with different shows on at the kinky club and around the hotel, one night we even went to a boat party which was free and all included. The hotel was perfect for us and it couldn't of been in a better location right on the beautiful beach! Best holiday I've ever had!

"Real Life Oasis"
First time going to the Oasis hotel with my wife and it was an overall very good experience. The hotel was located right by the beach so getting to our favorite beach chair was not a problem. The water was crystal clear and the waves weren't even beyond half a foot tall. It was just so damn gorgeous. And what made it better is that the hotel is CHILDREN FREE, so that was a vacation in its self. The room, restaurants and bar service were top notch with a good variety of places to eat within the hotel, especially the Italian restaurant called "Moonlight". That Italian restaurant had excellent waiter service especially if you get a waiter by the name of Eladio who went above and beyond to make sure you had a more than a excellent experience there. We always made sure he was our server. The only bad thing really is that in the lobby there were these solicitors who would drive you to other hotels that belong to Oasis, and offer tours to these hotels if you put a $20 dollars down payment but upon further investigating these "hotels" were time shares and we never went. Overall great hotel and vacation spot and I will come back again.
"Lots of reasons to go back, but specific type of vacation"
The oasis sens is a very nice property. We did not leave the resort the entire time, other than the pirate ship excursion, which if you aren't into a party mood (cancun style) is a waste of time. It was also fairly cheesy and much more geared for a younger crowd. Helga greeted us and gave us all the information. We could tell after speaking with her that we were going to have a good time. The pool is clean, drinks occasionally get knocked in, so watch that, but the infinity aspect makes for great photos. There was a nice mix. The restaurants are great, especially the box.Dinner and Cigars with Luis and Luz were one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The Kinky club was also one of the highlights. great entertainment and dancing. The coffee and me is reserved for VIP bracelet holders only, but we were able to get great coffee with Lupe at the lobby bar. She was very friendly and another person who really made our vacation special. Mr. Wimpy is great for drinks and a snack at the pool. Jose was a fantastic bartender and served us with a smile. Priscilla at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and a fond farewell. She smiled every time we approached the desk and helped us when our room key did not work. The AC in the rooms is not the best, but the showers are great. Weird that the glass doesn't go all the way over and there is no curtain. Housekeeping was standard/good. A great thing to do is bring a lot of $1 bills to tip. A little goes a long way and converting the money at the front desk is a chore and not worth the effort or time. I know it's all inclusive, but generosity will come back to you. All in all I would return to oasis sens if I wanted a nice relaxing beach vacation with a swim up bar and a resort that isn't extremely crowded with great food options and a welcoming staff. If I could change one thing it would be the time share, or resort sales people in the lobby. Not my idea of class.
"Planning next trip soon!!!"
My partner and I just got back home from a wonderful experience in Cancun. We booked our all inclusive package with funjet. When we arrived at Oasis Sens everyone was eager to help us and show us the ropes. They have beautiful views, clean rooms and pools, and very friendly staff. It is a gay friendly resort that was very diverse and open. Everyone went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and happy. We are already planning our next trip for next year. Hopefully we will be able to stay longer, and possibly have our wedding on the beach.
"Paradise in the Carribean"
We loved the food, people and our room with our own plunge pool. Private and oceanfront room with breath taking views. Juan Carlos from the Mexican restaurant is the very best with his staff. You can order off the menu his very own surf and turf special with flank steak and barbeque shrimp. For lunch you can order salmon with a delicious spinach sauce, veggies and potatoes from the Caf. All in all we had a wonderful time. We were treated very well and I would recommend the all inclusive plan. It's worth it for all of the wonderful food and cuisine you have to choose from a wide variety. We are going back next year.

"OMG What a great Time!!"
I had the best stay at the Oasis Sens, I was greeted upon arrival by a very friendly bellhop named Rafael. He took care of my bags while I did my check in. I was atended at the reception promptly by a friendly face, I think her name was Judy, she made sure that I was informed of everything there was to do at the hotel, and there was alot to do. She told me that my room would be ready by 3 and since I had arrived early I was able to start my vacation right away while I waited. I had lunch that first day at a mexican restaurant that was just good. The singers at the mexican were friendly and asked me for songs, but I dont know many songs in spanish yet. I went to explore the hotel and I met another Rafael, he was something to do with management because he provided a tour ofthe hotel and gave me his card and told me that if I needed anything while I was there he would be more than happy to take care of it for me. The hotel has a gym but lets be honest there was no way that I planned to visit it while I was on vacation, would you? I got my room at just before 3 as Judy said that I would and it was nice, I got a lagoon view and trust me it is better than the ocean view becuase the sunsets are just too much to miss. Anyways i saw the ocean pleanty at the beach and pool. Rafael was walking by the pool everyday asking everyone to make sure that they were having a good time. I asked him if he could do anything about the air in my room since I am used to colderweather, he had my AC checked and sent me a fan aswell and it made a great improvement. The restaurants are great but YOU MUST MUST MUST try the bensusa restaurant! Wow what an experiance! And guess what the cheff is named Rafael too. I actualy met another Rafael there in the breakfast buffet with the manager Rafael, I had to ask why so many Rafael's and they said that it was a name very popular in mexico. cool. I had a bllast while I was there, you must go because you will love it. Next time I will stay longer. Oh and make sure to sign up for the pirate boat that is a way blast!!!

We got to release the baby turtles into the ocean while we were there and that was an amazing experience.The hotel is very clean and the room was very nice.We booked our vacation through Vacation Express and was very pleased with them.The staff is very helpful and they made our week very nice. Sabina the young lady at the pool was awesome and very sweet. Sergio made sure we had everything we needed.It would be better if there was a bit more to do after dinner but if you go with friends you can have a lot of fun anyway.

"Great customer service"
We stayed 3 nights at the Sens in August. The hotel and facilities were wonderful. We had special help from concierges Sergio and Edwin. They helped arrange golf and special shopping. They always had a smile and attempted to anticipate our needs. We had a minor problem with the toilet, which was fixed within a 5 minute time period. In addition Valentina was a joy to know, her enthusiasm will surely help this hotel. Food was good, we always were able to find something we liked
"Great ocean views ok place to stay"
We were transferred from a different hotel and were greeted by Adrian who by the way is the nicest and helpful person you will meet!! We enjoyed our time at this hotel especially at the pool. It was a fun environment playing volleyball and listening to fun music. We LOVED Muerdeme Mucho restaurant. Juan Carlos, Roberto and Jesus made the place fun and so welcoming. Make sure you are ready to take some tequila shots. They were funny, offered great service and made you want to come back to hang out with them. Overall a good place to stay but here are helpful hints: Make your reservation for the restaurants as soon as you get there especially if you are staying during the week. The resort only has one restaurant open for dinner so the wait is long. Costumer service is ok. Some make an effort to get to you know you like Adrian, Juan Carlos, Roberto, and Jesus, but other than that staff aren't that friendly. Our favorite place to eat was the happy chicken and wimpy burgers that are both by the pool. There is a great bar on the beach that serves amazing drinks. Very important when checking in ask about the pirate ship and other activities that are free when staying at the hotel. If you want to stay at a hotel where the staff know your name and are catering then I recommend staying somewhere else. But if you are looking to relax have great views of the ocean and meet interesting people then I recommend this place!
