Location is an awesome location near Universal Studios. In fact, you can look out your window and have a view of the park. This is a new hotel that is a great value in the area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast options are great especially for families, which can save a lot when visiting this area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed with your choice here. Disney is about a 20 minute ride from here. Universal, you are at their doorstep, and a shuttle is provided for Universal.

“Location is an awesome location near Universal Studios. In fact, you can look out your window and have a view of the park. This is a new hotel that is a great value in the area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast options are great especially for families, which can save a lot when visiting this area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed with your choice here. Disney is about a 20 minute ride from here. Universal, you are at their doorstep, and a shuttle is provided for Universal.”

“The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, including the GM! Our room (216) has a separate bedroom w/2 queen very comfortable beds. Perfect for a family of 5 as the couch on the other half of the room folds out (VERY COMFY). PLENTY of room for all to spread out (this room is basically the size of two rooms put together). A nice little kitchenette allowed us to order groceries from Publix and have snacks/fruit/wine/beer on hand and delivered to the hotel upon our arrival. The rooms are clean (of course, brand spanking new!). The free breakfast in the morning is plentiful (make your own waffles, oatmeal, egg-sausage-cheese sandwiches, egg omelette, yogurt, cereal, juices, bagels, toast, donuts)-if you miss the 10am cutoff there is an Ihop up the street. The pool is small, however you have the option to go to the Hilton Garden in across the street to the larger pool that also has a Tiki Bar and hot tub. Did I say the staff is amazing?! Laundry (2 washers/2 dryers) on site are available, and it's only $1 to wash and $1 to dry. You may want to bring tide pods (which I did not think of) or they have detergent available for $1.25 per load. Did three loads at different days/times and never had to wait. To Uber XL from the airport was around $35. To Uber XL to Universal is about $10 and highly recommended-we would jump into an Uber and be gone from the park-while others staying on Universal property were waiting on their last long line of the day to get a bus. USB ports are available in room and lobby. WiFi works great. The maids are truly amazing-always come back to a spotless room no matter what time we are gone from the room. We stayed for 6 nights and would stay at this very same hotel again and again. It's not plush . . . but totally serviceable and meets the needs of my family fabulously. The rooms are very quiet - we never heard noise from surrounding rooms or hallway. You will pay half what you would staying on Universal property, with more conveniences - in my opinion. Honestly, we gave up NOTHING staying at Home2 Suites for this trip - and gained the knowledge we share with you here. Last but not least . . . the staff is amazing! (No, I do not personally know them at all - but Melissa is a great hugger! She would hug us when we came in the lobby! Also, I spied them writing out a birthday card and sending cupcakes for some kids that were staying during their birthday. How awesome is that!?)”
"Excellent proximity to Universal"
“This brand new hotel was super easy to drive back and forth to Universal from. We enjoyed the free breakfast, spacious rooms, and lobby area for playing card games. Parking can be a bit of an issue, there doesn’t seem to be enough spots for everyone. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was inexpensive at a dollar to wash and a dollar to dry. Single boxes of Tide were a dollar twenty five at their little Home 2 Market. We walked to iHop and Sweet Tomatoes for dinners, Walgreens for anything we needed, and the Congo mini golf (fun!) nearby. The Home2 Suites does offer a shuttle to/from Universal that is shared with the other hotels in the area, we did not use it though. We enjoyed our week here and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.”

“The ONLY issue I had with this hotel was that I read a description that said "full kitchen" yet there was no stove when I arrived. Other than that the hotel is beyond clean and the staff are probably the most welcoming staff I've ever seen. Even during breakfast they stopped to make conversation and make me feel at home. It was priced decent. There is a shuttle and gym. I will defintely be returning.”

Very close location to Universal Studios theme park like a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Had a free breakfast, basketball court, and pool. Good value for the price. Front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful.”

“The staff was extremely friendly and so helpful. The shuttle was convenient to the parks and there were plenty of shuttle times to choose. There were a couple mornings that the shuttles were full at the time we wanted to be at the park so we chose to walk. The park is only about a mile away and there are wide sidewalks and cross walks the entire way. With a family of 6, an added bonus was a free continental breakfast and a light dinner in the early evening. I really like that my floor had a washer and dryer for guests. I didn’t know it when we booked and packed our clothes. Had I known I would have packed just backpacks/carry on and done a couple loads of laundry. It would have saved on luggage fares and waiting at the luggage terminal.”

I traveled with my partner and 1 year old. The kitchen was fully stocked to include dishwasher soap and paper towels! The room was plenty big with a separate bedroom. Great for having the baby go to bed early and still leaving a space for me and my partner to hang out! The location is also great!”
